Family & Lifestyle Photography

Family is a very important part of my life. Growing up, there were so many times when my family would convene to look at slides of vacations, graduations, parties, anniversaries and all manner of events that my father documented with his 35 mm point-and-shoot. Those images not only preserved our memories but brought those moments back to life.

Portraits are a way for a family to share themselves with others and for them to preserve specific moments in time. By photographing families in their favorite and most comfortable environments, I am able to get to know them and therefore capture their story on film. The approach is easy, natural, caring—just like family.

Family is how you define it. I take pictures of individuals by themselves, with their pets, their partners, their children and their chosen families.
